Name is Michelle. I have been keeping reef tanks for 2 years now. I have learned a lot in these two years but I always have a lot more to learn. Anyway I really like the idea of a local forum. I would love to see some local frag trades.
Ny current tank is a 29 gallon aga with large sump, K1, hang on back filter for chemical filtration and a Sundial 96 watt T5 light. I am just about ready to begin my venture into SPS corals. At the moment I am having issues with keeping acans and brain corals eventhough I have successfully kept and grown frogspawn, plate coral and candy canes. Acans and brains seem to begin showing there skeletons only days after adding them to my tank. Specs are all good except I found out I had rather high phosphates due to a piece of eggcrate I just put in the tank and low magnesium which I have been bringing up slowly and should be about right, right now. Any suggestion? I feed cycopleeze, marine snow and mysis.
