Those are pompom crabs. They carry either one or two mini anemones around for protection.

I had a pistol all I ever heard was clicking in my tank then one day it stopped I guess the poor guy died. sad I found another mantis in my tank the other day, he is small about 3/4 inch I just let him go, actually he snapped me didnt hurt but it scared me and I dropped him. lol
yes the sexy shrimp is the nicest indeed.

I have bought several pom pom crabs throughout the years. The last time I get a good look at it is while Im placing it in the tank and maybe once or twice every few weeks. Then I end up finding its remains somewhere. They are cool but its best to keep in a nano where you can actually watch them.Anyway My favorite invertebrate is definitely a sexy shrimp!!
