hermits and clams

whats the best way to keep the hermits and snails off my clam, they keep it from opening

theres stuff called gold bond or blue star that keeps crabs off im sure it will keep snails off too

Never heard of anyone having any luck keeping snails off.
Hermits crabs are hit and miss on the products out there, but I have heard both pros and cons on the products working or not.

I have mine in sand at front of tank and nobody messes with them all 5 of them
