liveaquaria says with caution but i have him with fish and zoas....you just cant have it with shrimp and emerald crabs(hes fine with hermits), and he's like 3 inchs

I got me one of those lobster, about 2 months now, got him in my 40gl mix reef with no problem, dosent bother any thing in my tank, not the coral not the fish or my shrimp and or crabs. stays mostly in his cave.

sorry to hear it died but if it makes you feel better the zoas i traded u for it melted away too lmao only thing ive had die in the last 6 months

Since my lobster only stays in his cave at the back of the tank, i will trick him by creating another cave in the from of the tank that will be visable all the time, then i wil relocate him. had to do the same with my long tentacle nem, since it onloy hides between the rocks and only come out for feeding. created a cave for him and now its verry visable at all time.
