incense and plug in's

does anyone burn or uses plug in's incense in the room that you keep your tanks. i do not. not no where in the house. my wife as wanted to but i dont think its good for my creatures. the question is do you think that the oils or smoke can make it into your tanks water?

my wife has one going on in every room plug ins, havnt had any problems that i can notice

i would think that air pump or you skimmer would pull it in to your tank.

never had a problem with any of that stuff with my tank...as long as its not being spilt in it, it should be fine. is the tank covered?

i've never had issues, and i use all kinds of that stuff.  just, if you get the spray kind, make sure it's not spraying near the tank...any fans that are used for cooling the water, lighting, etc can pull in the spray.  i'm not 100% sure it would do MUCH damage, but i wouldn't want it being pulled into my tank water regardless.  but just having the plugins that heat up or lighting candles should be fine.  just make sure you buy the brand name stuff, because most of those things say "safe for use around animals"...now, that doesn't mean it's safe to feed to your dog, or dump in your tank, but it's less potent.  tell your wife she can have a pretty smelling house if she wants to!  lol!  us girls need some yummy smells now and again with all you boys around being all smelly!  hehe!
