BTW if anyone is interested I will take a pic of the actual rock and nem you would be getting.
I have a BTA that have had for several months, 3 months ago it split into 3 sections, 1 is small 2-3in, 1 3-4in very nice. I am keeping the mother. The rock that it is attached to must go with it I am not attempting to remove it. willing to sell it out right or trade for what it is worth on the net they are selling for $150 2 in, I think that is crazy. $60 for small and $75 for med.
One pic before she split and one after with clown in it.

thats a bubble tip?
That was what I was told when I bought it. It bubbles at the base and when it isnt fully extended. I admit it doesnt look like a typical red bubble tip that I have seen in the stores, maybe it is a different species?????????
U want a trade or what on the bta???
Thats a Long Tentacle Anenome.
Its not a long tentacle, russ. BTA's do that in tanks. People cant figure out y they loose all their bubbles in captivity. At night, or when I mess with mine, his bubbles will form again. lol

Not likely unless it feels less comfortable than it does now. IME, they tend to loose their bulbs when they are comfortable. Change its environment and it will liklly bubble again for a period, but then it will likely become stringy again.

A few things say that that is a BTA, and a few that say that its not an M.doreensis (AKA LTA).
LTAs are sand dwellers. If you find one on a rock, its either un-happy (looking for more light) or Mis-ID's.
LTA's will have predominant verrucae in longitudinal rows, on the underside of the orals disc that will be very easy to see and be very easy to help confirm an ID
LTA will have the tips of their tenticles tapered to a point.
BTAs will perch themselves in a rock with their foot burried in a crevace that the anemone feels that it can retract into.
BTAs will not have verrucae.
I guess now that the facts have been brought out that I surpassed in the begining I have to say I agree 100%.
I have a nice acan thats worth atleast 80 dollars ill be more than willing to trade you for the medium one.
