beautiful ACAN
Newly aquired Acans
in Forum > Coral Talk
These are the first acans I have ever had so wish me luck. Everyone tells me they are the easiest coral to keep however I have heard that before. lol any advice regarding these coral would be welcomed.
I am also including a pic of a 2 headed red something, acan? Blasto? let me know. I purchased the 2 headed one from LFS it had 4 heads but my room mate was using some Aiptasia-X with the pumps going and it got on them Killed dead. However i did manage to save these two. She now knows to turn pumps off, she thought reef safe meant it wouldnt hurt any other coral.....

Oh really it doesnt look like the other acans, I dont know? I went to the LFS and he gave me a killer deal, maybe once it gets comfortable it will open up fully, or maybe we need ASHLEY to ID it. lol wait til you see the other 2 I obtained, a beautiful chalice (orange with teal going through it) and a Fava that has two types growing on the rock it is awsome. will post pics tonight.

A piece with that size and beauty in nyc would go easily for minimum of $150.

"SAVE A CORAL! TAKE A ROAD TRIP!" lol! hey, i kinda like that! that's my new catch phrase! learn it, live it, love it! hehe! but seriously, come visit!
